Well the most embarrassing thing to tell my manager is that I can't meet the deadline. I wish I could tell him that. I always say "Yeah, I can do that" and struggle to complete it or may be I don't and cut a sorry figure. Well I think things are too rigid and flexibility in deadlines is too much to ask. But today I looked at the stuff on my plate, pondered a while over it and said to myself, "Please ask for more time". Well, and to my surprise, I saw myself in my manager's cubicle, asking him for more time. He said, Right O!!!
So here I am feeling happy and extra relieved that I can work without pressure !!!
